Works comprised of:
Risk assessment before door removal and fire door installation (wall type, building fabric, fitting tolerances).
Product checklist and compatibility (door frames, walls).
Creating fire door register.
Planning the linear gap seal.
Door frames or door linings were fitted into pre-formed openings and not built into masonry walls.
Installation of intumescent and smoke seals, hinges, locks.
Fitting ironmongery to the frame and door leaf.
Fitting of letter plates and other ironmongery into aperture cut-outs into the door leaf.
Doorstop and door closer fitting.
Backfilling the gap between the frame and the wall, if required usage of expanding foam and expanding seals.
Making good area around the door and door frame and paint the doors as required by the client.
Completing an inspection and maintenance according to the Fire Safety Order.
Completing periodic checks for the Client as required by Fire regulations UK.
Providing the client with BWF certificate and label (visible at all times).
